Genetics & Origin

A 2014 Cannabis Cup winner famous for resin production and a chem-and-coffee profile.

Gorilla Glue #4, also sold as GG4 or Original Glue, is a three-way cross of Chem's Sister, Sour Dubb, and Chocolate Diesel. It won multiple Cannabis Cup awards in 2014 and became known for the sticky resin that gave it its name.

The aroma is pungent and sour with earthy chem notes, and the Chocolate Diesel parent shows up as dark chocolate and coffee on the exhale. Commonly reported experiences are a euphoric, happy start that gives way to a heavy, relaxed body, the "glued to the couch" effect the strain is named for.

NUUG BAR Gorilla Glue #4 is available in the 2G all-in-one as CAT 4 THC distillate and THCA Liquid Diamonds. It is the highest-potency-rated flavor profile in the hybrid group.

Gorilla Glue #4 FAQ

Is Gorilla Glue #4 indica or sativa?

GG4 is a balanced hybrid that most people describe as indica-leaning in effect: euphoric first, then heavy and relaxed.

What does Gorilla Glue #4 taste like?

Sour, earthy chem with chocolate and coffee from the Chocolate Diesel parent. It is one of the more pungent profiles in the lineup.

Why is it called Gorilla Glue?

The original breeders reported the plant was so resinous their tools stuck together. The name stuck too; it is also sold as GG4 and Original Glue.
